Øl Post Reflects on a Successful Beverage Service at Bornhack 2025

Øl Post looks back with satisfaction on the introduction of its beverage delivery service during Bornhack 2025. This new service, offered alongside our established postcard operations, was met with enthusiasm from attendees throughout the event.

For the first time, visitors were able to “send øl” by placing the required amount of HAX and a selected drink from the bar menu into a dedicated envelope, addressing it to another participant on the field, and posting it through the Øl Post box. Our team handled deliveries across the field and worked diligently to ensure that drinks reached their intended recipients in a timely manner.

The positive responses from Bornhack attendees confirmed that the beverage service added an enjoyable and unexpected layer to onsite communication. It demonstrated once again how creative logistics and lighthearted interaction can fit naturally within the broader mission of Øl Post.

We are pleased with the outcome of this inaugural trial and will evaluate future opportunities to offer the Øl Post beverage service at upcoming events. Our thanks go to everyone who participated, supported the service, and helped make this first run a success.
